Hi
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flagfox/

An instance of this error when I fired up Nightly 56.0a1 (2017-07-26) (32-bit) today
similar to viewtopic.php?f=3&t=664

I am about to re-install to see if it goes away.

The extension is still marked 'legacy', I hope you can update it (Mozilla grumble, grumble, annoyance).
Sorry, the Flagfox extension has encountered a problem. It is recommended that you reinstall Flagfox and restart Firefox to attempt to repair the problem. The following error output and a Flagfox preferences dump has been sent to Tools -> Error Console.

Just updated to Nightly 56.0a1 (2017-07-26) (32-bit)
under Windows10

Re-installed Flagfox.

That's a persistent error, it comes back on re-install.
However, thankfully FF carries on but without flagfox, no crashiness.

I get one exception report per new window (initially, & +N or restore page), but not on +T

noted, this potentially useful comment from DaAwesomeP. Perhaps there is hope?

Yeah, they changed something in Nightly that broke everything. Will investigate at some point.

Not so much "hope", as an ultimatum. Everyone has to rewrite their extensions for the WebExtensions API by the end of the year or get banned until they do. I've been putting it off, as it's going to be a lot of work, and it's a fairly demoralizing decision on Mozilla's part. Some other addon devs have just quit outright.

Based on the fact that Flagfox is still being run at all, this shouldn't be a WebExtensions issue, yet. I will look into it when I can make the time to do so.
