Great extension. I wrote it up on my CNET blog.

Thanks. Richard actually noticed yesterday, so we've already read it. ;)

I'm glad that you didn't go overboard considering this to be a full-blown security extension, as has been an occasional misconception. Flagfox can be useful as an additional security tool by pointing out possible problems, however it can't verify that a site is valid by itself. EV certificates are a much better way to verify that a site is who they claim to be.

My only request would be that you do not link to the download.com hosted version from the post. I don't particularly mind 3rd parties hosting Flagfox for download, so long as the file is unaltered, however this usually means they have an old version. Flagfox has to have monthly updates to keep the internal database current, so getting out-of-date is something to avoid. Most users can just update to get the current version, however download.com currently has Flagfox 3.2.1 (March 6) which is not officially compatible with the final Firefox 3 release and thus cannot be installed at all. Please point to https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/5791 instead and update your hosted version to latest. (which is 3.2.6, at least for the next few days)

Thanks again for the kind mention.
