Re: I can not reach flagfox.net or http://94.174.0.220
I have heard from another user who was also having issues connecting from Germany (not sure what provider they were using) that they can now connect. Can you try again?

Re: I can not reach flagfox.net or http://94.174.0.220
Hi, Apologies that it's taken me a while to reply, but I was offline for a few days. As you've seen by using a proxy the site is definitely up, and is receiving a 'normal' amount of traffic. Looking at the traceroutes it looks like something is getting lost in the Virginmedia network, which is the I...

Re: geo.flagfox.net slow to reach
You're in luck as from the next Flagfox release we'll be moving to a site hosted in the UK :) . The URL is changing as well, as the geo.flagfox.net URL seems to have attracted a lot of crappy traffic recently. If you want you can start using the new UK site now, by creating a custom action in Flagfo...

Re: South Korea displays as North Korea
This mix-up was actually showing up in Geotool as well - again only in the Swedish version. I too have switched the strings round and http://geo.flagfox.net/?lang=sv&host=cowonglobal.com/ should, for example, now correctly be reported as Sydkorea.

Re: Blocked from Geotool
Hi, Yes you're correct - this will happen when you don't submit a referer and user-agent. This may cause an inconvenience to some, but due to the high number of idiots that try to use screen-scraper type programs on geotool I've had to introduce a few techniques to try and block them. If you provide...

Re: TLD placeholder?
I think I'm going to add a {tld} placeholder to get the effective TLD, i.e. the top level domain that can be registered. For example, http://www.bbc.co.uk would give .co.uk instead of just .uk. The service I'm already using for getting {baseDomainName} can provide this easily so it'll be simple to ...
