Re: flag image
What the...? Please post the full extension name and version. (there's half a dozen "Mr. Tech" extensions) I'll take a look at it.

Re: flag image
Odd. So, when you click on it you go to Geotool and it shows the server location just fine? If you hover over the icon, what's the tooltip say? Did you get a proxy prompt at any point? (you'll have a reset link in Flagfox's options if you did) My first guess (if it's not due to lack of DNS) would be...

Re: IP Information
Is the IP address shown when hovering over the flag icon in the status bar from the Firefox DNS cache? By definition, yes. All DNS hits go to Firefox's DNS cache, unless specifically told not to. If the cache doesn't have it, then it goes to any local DNS cache, then your ISP, then their ISP, etc. ...

Re: Flagfox not working with IE Tab
Yes, and I'm sorry to say that it won't. See thread "conflict with IETab [FIXED]" (the initial bug reported in that thread was fixed, but the conclusion stands) I did a few tests with IE Tab. I was going to add support for it in Flagfox, but I ran into an impasse. The real URL of the browser is at "...

Re: cu sites shown as ca
Cuba is in the database. Both sets have a flag. Paste the following into your address bar (with Flagfox installed and enabled) to view them: chrome://flagfox/content/icons/flagset1/cu.png chrome://flagfox/content/icons/flagset2/cu.png They're also shown in the preview window, though admittedly it's ...

Re: 'Unknown site' - Flagfox only shows question marks :-(
Have you installed any new plugins recently? (they show in all profiles) If so, you can try disabling them via the last tab in the add-ons manager to see if they're causing it. Have you installed anything else on your computer in the past few days? Have you changed your connection settings at all? C...

Re: Use localalized Wikipedia sites
The intl.locale.matchOS pref has been know to cause problems. (locale switching in my distro, Mandriva, actually requires changing its default value as root) However, it's already working correctly showing Flagfox in German. Unfortunately, dealing with locales in Firefox is a headache and as you see...

Re: Use localalized Wikipedia sites
Near as I can tell, if Flagfox is showing in German then the method I use should be requesting the German Wikipedia. I need more information. Please do the following: 1) Enter "about:config" into the address bar and "intl" into the filter bar. Attach a screenshot of what you get there here. 2) Enter...

Re: Use localalized Wikipedia sites
Well, I think the problem should be obvious now. You seem to be using the English version. The preference and user agent from both places come up as English; the only place it's set to de-DE is in HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE in the HTTP header. I'm using nsIHttpProtocolHandler to get the language, so I don...

Re: Use localalized Wikipedia sites
I'd prefer, if Flagfox would use the localized Wikipedia site. It already does, or at least it's supposed to. Either your browser's locale isn't set properly/fully or there's some idiosyncrasy in the way I detect it. Could you please post a few bits of information? 1) Enter "about:config" into the ...
