Re: Reporting local IP class

In Flagfox 3.3 I've changed the private IP range names to be more descriptive. Class A (10/8) Private Address Range Class B (172.16/12) Private Address Range Class C (192.168/16) Private Address Range This should help to alleviate some confusion, though I can't get rid of the base confusion that alr...

Re: status bar vs navigation toolbar

In Flagfox 3.3 I have added the ability to place the flag in the address bar. The toolbar wasn't a good option because the flag icons are simply too small for users with their toolbar set to use large icons rather than small. Being in the address bar makes more sense anyway, as Flagfox is providing ...

Flagfox license

Flagfox and its source are free to use and open. You can read the text here as well as the "LICENSE" file in the Flagfox source folder. The first 2 clauses and the disclaimer are from the BSD license, the second 2 are from the zlib/libpng license, the 5th is a variation of clauses in many other open...

Re: Error message

See the other threads titled exactly the same. :P Please read the bug reporting sticky and do the standard extension conflict test. (#5 in the list) Just disable the other extensions you have one at a time until you don't get the problem, then post back here with its name and version so I can attemp...

Re: ERROR MESSAGE: Failed to init options window

We'll need info to have anything to go on here. If there was more to the error message (i.e. an exception, which there should've been) then please post that too, not to mention the circumstances of how you get that message. (and if you can open the window sometimes without it) Please give this a qui...

Re: ERROR MESSAGE: Failed to set icon position

I think you've gotten a little confused. By definition, Flagfox is needed for a Flagfox error to show. :) The question is if Flagfox plus another add-on causes the error. If you typed "flagfox" into the filter bar (without the quotes) and got nothing, then Flagfox is not (correctly) installed at all...

Re: ERROR MESSAGE: Failed to set icon position

Fortunately you're getting (or at least posting) more info, and hopefully you'll reply with more so I can get to the bottom of this. First and foremost, please read the bug reporting sticky , specifically #5. This sort of thing is usually due to a conflict with another extension. If we can find out ...

Re: flag image

I do not even know what a filter bar is, sorry. It's that big search bar labeled "Filter" that's at the top of the about:config page... If you think it was an old version, try installing the latest version. If it doesn't break Flagfox again then they must've fixed their issue. If it does, then I wo...

Re: flag image

Well, only a few are FF3 compatible and if you had one it was probably the toolkit. (formerly Mr. Tech Local Install) You had all sorts of extra things in your tools menu, I guess? If so, could you please enter about:config in the address bar and then "local_install" (without the quotes) into the fi...
