Re: My IP is wrong in Geotool
Nothing has changed in Geotool in regards to determing your IP address. I first check if the HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR header field exists and if it does I take the first IP address in this field as the client's IP address. If that's not set I check for HTTP_CLIENT_IP . And finally if that's not set I th...

Re: Geotool always asking for captcha [FIXED]
Hmm - something odd is going on here to cause this. I've changed the backend code to the website slightly to hopefully stop the captcha from appearing for you while we look into this.

Re: Wrong Countryflag, on Maxmind it works
Hi, Firstly make sure you're using the latest version of Flagfox. Dave released version 4.2.5 yesterday which incorporates the latest IP database released by Maxmind. But it is still quite possible that Maxmind and Flagfox are showing different results. There are two versions of the Maxmind IP datab...

Re: FlagFox Release 4.2.4 Problems with geoip
Flagfox uses one of the IP address location databases provided by Maxmind . They must have changed the data for the IP address ranges you listed in the last update of their database that was included in Flagfox 4.2.4. We don't maintain this database, so you would need to contact Maxmind to correct a...

Re: New us ips detect failed
The IP databases are released on a monthly basis, usually at the start of the month. As you submitted your corrections towards the end of last month, I would not have expected to see the corrections in this month's release. They may be in next month's release, but no guarantee of that either as I ha...

Re: Options Import and Export
There is a hidden option in flagfox to use Firefox's built in sync service to copy your options around. I believe it's defaulted to off, so to turn it on go to about:config then toggle services.sync.prefs.sync.flagfox.actions to true. You will need to have sync set-up in Firefox (Tools -> options ->...

Re: Sameip.org now a parked site
Yep, I'm getting "502 Bad Gateway" as well now. We'll leave it for a while and see if it returns I guess.

Re: Sameip.org now a parked site
Maybe there was a temporary issue as it seems to be working OK now.
According to their whois record, it was updated today so I suspect they did 'disappear' for a brief period.

Re: Robot
There seems to be a few people recently being redirected to this page. This is due to your browser user-agent being blank. Is this something you've intentionally done? The website suffers from many robots trying to scrape geolocation data so I was forced to block anybody trying to hide their user-ag...
