Re: Keyboard shortcuts are coming to Fx 60.0
Yep, they're slowly implementing some of the stuff they should've had working months before they did the switch. I'll start using it to re-implement pre-existing Flagfox features in the not too distant future.

Re: How to disable annoying notification about me using an older version? (I plan to stay on Flagfox 5.2.3)
What do you mean by "fast enough"? If you've got something hiding it prematurely, then just try loading up Firefox without restoring a session. The checkbox should only need to be checked once to never see it again. If that's not working, you may have something installed that's breaking the ability ...

Re: Webext Flagfox doesn't work if workers are disabled
But I disable them as a general safety measure because it's yet another powerful tool in the hands of website owners to run javascript crapware on my computer that may spy, cryptomine and so on. Workers are basically useless for attempting to spy/track/etc. They're just a way to run JS in another t...

Re: Webext Flagfox doesn't work if workers are disabled
I'm curious as to why you'd disable workers at all. Is there something it can break? It's a little odd that Mozilla doesn't have separate web & browser/addon prefs here, as they have for many things in the past, but apparently that's the case. Flagfox 6.0+ runs the IPDB in a worker, so it is require...

Re: Seamonkey compatibility
Current SeaMonkey is based on Gecko/Firefox 52 ESR, which I am incapable of supporting due to missing WebExtension APIs. There was also some severe WebExtension brokenness in SeaMonkey, in addition to missing APIs, last time I checked (Flagfox 5.2.x explicitly disables WebExt storage support under S...

Re: Right click a link, context menu has flag fox options?
Just cleaning up the forums a bit, and I noticed this thread. Flagfox 6.0+ now has this feature.
The relative ease of adding these new menus was the one actual good thing about the painful transition to the WebExtension API.

Re: Cannot modify actions
Thanks for the screencap and sorry for not realizing there were two issues here, earlier. The inability to change the default action names & templates is intentional, but the save button is still supposed to work for saving the hotclick. It being greyed out is a bug in Flagfox 6.0.0, which I've now ...

Re: FlagFox and Firefox WebExtensions
Hi Dave, a newbie question, do you recommend using the beta versions? Are they reliable? At the time of writing this, the beta channel has a version equivalent to release. (the release candidate for the current version) I plan to test out caching improvements on beta, as I work to finish that bit (...
