Re: Méjico?

Next release will use the spelling "México" in the default Spanish (es-ES) locale.

Re: Flag does not appear on status bar

I don't have enough information to figure out what's wrong with your setup at this point. The fallback troubleshooting method is to try things in a new profile . I don't see how it wouldn't work there unless you have a particularly buggy plugin installed. (plugins carry over to all profiles, unlike ...

Re: recompiling JAR

(split off of other thread; not related to original topic) Yes, they're just ZIPs. However, some programs don't seem to make them in a way that Firefox can read. I don't know why; never bothered to find out. I use 7-zip, as it compresses ZIPs just a little bit better than everyone else and Firefox ...

Re: Flag does not appear on status bar

Well, what did you do that changed things? Did you recently install another add-on? (something new had to have caused this) What are Flagfox's current options? Goto about:config via the address bar then type flagfox in the filter bar. Any prefs that show in bold are non-default; tell me what they ar...

Re: Reporting local IP class is wrong

These classes are obsolete junk, that's why the CIDR scheme was created. :P First of all, typo in your last post: Class C is 24-bit network with 8-bit host ID. (total bits had better add up to 32) Quoting from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classful_network: Class Leading bits Start End CIDR mask Clas...

Re: Positioning suggestion

Not likely for a minor update, as I'd need to have "left most" translated for 20-something languages.

However, it just so happens that for a feature I'm considering for 3.3 I would need to have that string anyway, so I guess I might be able throw that option in there while I'm at it.

Re: Méjico?

There's no such thing as "correct Spanish"; each dialect has different things which are "correct" for that dialect. Flagfox is localized into both the Spain and Argentina Spanish dialects, but not Mexico. There are actually 2 full sets of translated files for these 2 locales. (though, with compressi...

Re: Méjico?

I've PMed the Spanish translator on BabelZilla.

It could just be that this is the correct localization in the Spain and Argentina dialects. Unfortunately BabelZilla (and thus Flagfox) does not have the Mexican dialect available at this time, which I admit is not ideal.

Re: CNET blog posting on Flagfox

Thanks. Richard actually noticed yesterday, so we've already read it. ;) I'm glad that you didn't go overboard considering this to be a full-blown security extension, as has been an occasional misconception. Flagfox can be useful as an additional security tool by pointing out possible problems, howe...

Re: ERROR MESSAGE: Flagfox failed to load!

BSOD usually means driver issues. Sane software usually can't do that these days, but then again Microsoft can surprise you. :P This has somehow managed to corrupt your Flagfox install, and possibly other portions of your Firefox profile. First of all, please post your Flagfox and Firefox versions. ...
