Re: Globe icon instead of flag?
OK, I gather there are just limits to the utility of this feature. I'll stop asking.

Re: Globe icon instead of flag?
Here's another problem...
National Weather Service page. Geotool says forecast.weather.gov, North America, United States, Colorado, Englewood, 23.219.72.12, AKAMAI-AS, US. But flag displayed on page today is Brazil?
(Later: it's back to the usual 104.114.164.17, Chicago, US flag)

Re: Still can't disable the annoying context menu tab
If the previously posted css didn't work for you, try this: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=786

Re: Globe icon instead of flag?
Thanks, got that. Let me reframe the question: why can Flagfox sometimes locate the cache server and sometimes not, even on the same day for the same site and CDN?
And once again, if there is a specific IP address for a site itself rather than some CDN, how can one find it?

Re: Globe icon instead of flag?
OK, this is weird. Just a couple of hours later, the same two pages are now showing a US flag, server location "United States", and different IP addresses (still CLOUDFLARENET):
Example: birdforum.net - 172.67.158.105 (?)

Globe icon instead of flag?
I'm sure versions of this question have been asked before but the answer probably depends on details in each case. I'm new to Flagfox, viewing a couple of British sites from USA, and instead of getting a UK (or US if that's where the server is) flag I get just a globe, and Server Location "Unknown s...

Re: Two critical bugs found in Firefox 71
Bug # 1: Confirmed (still in 2022, FF 91.13 ESR) Messing with the Geotool shortcut key causes many things on the Options page to stop working. On the other hand, restoring it to its default value seems(?) to solve the problem. If you really need to disable this shortcut in Firefox, do it with an ext...

This solution didn't work for me, but this did: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=786

Here's how to remove Flagfox from context menus
Until an option for this is added to Flagfox as some have requested, the following CSS will neatly remove its added items from Firefox's tab and page context menus. (Code previously posted here using "#_1018e4d6-728f-4b20-ad56-37578a4de76b_-menuitem-_Flagfox\:1\:submenu" didn't work for me.) menu[la...
